Samsung has just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge from the #Unpacked event in Barcelona. The latest devices from the manufacturer boast the toughest screens on the market, built in wireless charging and mobile payment solutions.
“Designed with purpose”, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were crafted with technology that was only thought to be available in the future. Temperatures up to 800 degrees Celsius were used to create the toughest glass screends on the market, on both the front and back of the devices that prevent any bending or misshaping.
Users can personalize their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge by assigning specific colors to categories such as contacts, video, and phone, etc. The application pages have also been simplified for an enhanced user experience utilizing bright, clear colors and updated fonts.
Perhaps the most advanced technology in the devices include the internal battery that can be charged for just 10 minutes to get 4 hours of use. Wireless charging is another built-in feature that allows customers to charge their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge without plugging cables into their devices.
Both the front and rear cameras received hefty upgrades with a 5MP front facing camera and 16MP rear high resolution camera that performs better in low-light than any other devices currently on the market. Need to get to your camera right away? Its standby mode allows users to double tap the home button and open the camera mode in under one second flat.
Launching this summer, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will also include Samsung Pay, an ultra-secure payment method compatible at any retailers who accept credit cards, debit cards or NFC payment. With the “Samsung Knox” security system, customers can rest assured that their personal bank information is not stored in the device or with Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be available April 10th in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options.
