Better than ever | The new iPad Pro 10.5″ & 12.9″ are here.

At yesterday’s WWDC event, Apple announced the newest iPad Pro, the 10.5″ model, along with the updated 12.9″ model. Apple also announced iOS 11, coming this fall, and their first home speaker “HomePod”. Did you miss the event? No worries, we’ve got you covered with every detail from the event.

iPad Pros – 10.5″ and 12.9″

To be blunt…the new iPad Pros are stunning. The new size, 10.5″, which weighs in at only 1 pound, and the updated 12.9″, have some of the coolest new features we’ve seen from Apple in awhile. These new models have the world’s most advanced display, are more powerful than PC laptops thanks to a A10X fushion chip and an insanely fast refresh rate. The new Retina display brings a whole new standard to tablet displays and is far more responsive than anything that’s come before. This retina display supports at 120HZ refresh rate which means TV and movies look spectacular while the Apple Pencil will be more responsive than ever before. Both new iPads, which are shipping next week, come in three storage sizes, 64GB, 256Gb and 512GB, with prices starting at $649 up to $1099.

iOS 11

iOS 11 is probably the biggest update to iOS we’ve seen in a long time. Coming this Fall, our devices will have so many new capabilities including sending money via iMessage, customized control center and a QuickType keyboard. You will now be able to pay friends in iMessage with Apple Pay; watch out Venmo, Apple is coming for you. Wish you could customize your control center? Don’t fret; now you can so you can change the settings for what you do most. Do you ever feel like your hands are too small for the iPhone 7 Plus? We do too. But don’t worry; Apple, like always, has found a solution for that with the QuickType keyboard. You’ll be able to simply select one-handing and typing and voila the keyboard instantly moves over.

This is an entire new category for Apple; the home speaker category. Compatible with HomeKit devices, the HomePod is as impressive as Apple’s other products. Some of the features include spatial awareness so the speaker will detect the space its in to provide the best sound for the area. At under 7″ tall with 3D mesh fabric covering, HomePod will be available in December 2017 for $349.
