Today was 10 years in the making. Apple released the first iPhone 10 years ago (can you believe it)! At the first ever event hosted at the new Steve Jobs Theater, Apple unveiled 3 new iPhones, including the much anticipated iPhone X, along with a new Apple Watch and Apple TV.

The iPhone that everyone has been waiting months for is finally here.. and it was worth the wait. Tim Cook called the iPhone X the “the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone” and boy was he right. Visually, the iPhone X is stunning. The front and back are made from the most durable glass any smartphone has ever had. Arguably the biggest change visually? The iPhone X screen has an edge to edge display; something Apple users have been wanting for a long time. The second biggest change? No home button. How do you exit an app you may ask? It’s simple; just swipe up and the app goes away. How do you wake the iPhone X up? Just tap the screen & voila. How do you unlock the iPhone X? With Apple’s Face ID, which you guessed it, unlocks your phone by just looking at it (mind blown). Available in only two colors, Space Gray & Silver, the iPhone X is moving towards the future of charging & adopting wireless charging technology. While the price may be steep (the iPhone X starts at $999), it is one beautiful device. It will be available 10/27 for pre-order & will ship 11/3.

iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus
While the iPhone X was the star of today’s event, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were a close second. While the devices look similar to the previous iPhone 7/7 Plus models, they have some incredible new features including wireless charging, updated retina HD display, speakers 25% louder than before, new 12MP camera for sharper details & like the iPhone X, a front and back made completely from glass. One thing that makes the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus stand out from any other Apple smartphone? It’s new Gold color which is a hybrid of the old gold color fused with a hint of copper. Also available in Space Gray and Silver, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available 9/15 for pre-order & will ship 9/22.

Apple Watch & Apple TV
Did you know the Apple Watch is the #1 watch in the world? Neither did we. The Apple Watch Series 3 has many new features; the most exciting being that it has cellular built in. Now when you go on a run, you don’t need to worry about bringing your phone too as you can receive calls and texts just with the watch. This generation of Apple Watch also has 85% faster wifi, is 50% more power efficient which means an all day battery. The Apple Watch Series 3 will be available 9/15 for pre-order & will ship 9/22.
Along with Apple Watch, Apple introduced an updated version of Apple TV. This generation of Apple TV has 4k technology (4k has 4 times the pixels than HD)! This means the Apple TV is much faster than previous models; 2x as fast to be exact. Available for $179, the Apple TV will be available 9/15 for pre-order & will ship 9/22.
